At Color Pack, we believe that sustainability doesn't just start in our manufacturing processes, it should be part of our everyday lives. As our company's core philosophy is based on an environmentally conscious approach, we believe it is important to not only offer our partners paper-based, environmentally friendly packaging materials, but also to actively take action to protect the environment.
So together with our colleagues we started a litter picking operation in the nearby forest. On a pleasant, sunny afternoon, we set off together to clear nature of inappropriate litter. The action was not only good for the environment, it was also an uplifting experience for us: we worked together in a good atmosphere, and in the meantime we talked a lot, laughed a lot and got to know each other better.
We feel that this initiative has shown perfectly how much it means when a community acts for a cause with a common purpose and in support of each other. We are proud that our staff are open to environmental issues and we are pleased that the team-building programme has also produced tangible results: a cleaner, more liveable forest.
We would like to organise similar activities in the future, as we believe that every little bit counts. A sustainable future is not just about packaging, it's also about taking care of the world we live in together.
